Course Overview Hello. My name is Robert McMillan. I would like to welcome you to my course Implementing Threat Detection Solutions in Windows Server 2016. Security is a major concern for IT administrators and executives at every organization. By implementing threat detection in your Windows Active Directory environment, you can keep many threats away and learn how to mitigate threats that do come through your network. Microsoft has many tools we discuss in this course. We discuss auditing to notify of any changes in your infrastructure. Advanced Threat Analytics captures and parses many protocols to learn the behavior of users and other entities in your organization and it builds a behavioral profile about them. We also discuss Operations Management Suite. This is an online product for Microsoft for both cloud and on-premises devices. It can not only inform you of any issues that arise, but can also fix many problems by scripting responses of how to handle certain threats ahead of time automatically. By the end of this course, you'll be able to set up auditing, ATA, and OMS in your environment. I look forward to showing you how to protect your network using these three powerful tools as we discover how to implement threat detection in Windows Server 2016.
