Description

In this set of tutorials we'll take an in depth look at working with residential roof formations, materials, and even structures. We'll begin by creating various residential roof formations using various roof tools. Once we've become comfortable with making roof forms, we'll take a look at roof assemblies and customize our own assembly to fit the needs of our design. Finally, once roof materials and layers are in place, we'll model the framing system that supports the roof assembly we're trying to create. Software required: Revit 2015.

Introduction and Project Overview
Hi there. I'm Pierre with Digital Tudors, an Autodesk authorized publisher. In this set of tutorials, we'll take an in-depth look at working with residential roof formations, materials, and even structure. We'll begin by creating various residential roof formations using roof tools. Once we've become comfortable with the roof formations, we'll then take a look at the roof assemblies, and even customize our own assembly to fit the needs of our design. Finally, once the roof materials, and even layers are in place, we'll then model the framing system that will support the roof that we're creating. By the end of this course, you'll know how to approach modeling roof formations, roof assemblies, as well as how to quickly and accurately model the roof structure. So, with that, I'm ready to get started and I'll meet you in the next lesson.
